Richie Wong is a real estate broker, investor, property manager, and home inspector with experience spanning many years in Massachusetts helping his buyers and sellers achieve their financial dreams. Coming from an entrepreneurial family, he understood the value of hard work, and seeing how business is ran firsthand. Richie was young and eager entering college at UMass Amherst studying finance and accounting. It was during the first summer break of freshman year when he was looking for a job for some extra income. He looked around and noticed that the only person in his circle of friends making a six-figure income was making it in the real estate business. As soon as he turned 18, he went for his real estate license and did rentals throughout college. That was the start of a new beginning. After graduating college, he kept his real estate license but used his degree to pursue a career in finance at Price Waterhouse Cooper, a Global giant in the tax and accounting sector. Richie stayed at PWC for a few years, but found himself missing what he truly enjoyed, the real estate industry. He decided to leave his corporate job after a few years and was ready to go back into the real estate business. He purchased his first triple decker by flipping the property and making profits in three months, what some people made in a year. Since then, he has joined forces with his family purchasing, selling, and managing properties while also being the go to person amongst his friends who he has helped from all the stages from renting, to buying condos, homes, and now helping them buy investment properties. Richie, with his knowledge in renovations and property management saw an opportunity in the home inspection business as well. He is one of less than a handful of bilingual Chinese speaking home inspectors in the state. He is now the owner of RC Inspectors and performs home inspections while enjoying his passion working with clients for real estate transactions. Richie is an active member of AREAA Boston, real estate educator, and mentor to aspiring agents looking to get into the industry. In his free time, he enjoys trying the best food all over Boston, NYC, Canada, and all over the world along with traveling.
