Mr. Cascarilla maintains a practice which emphasizes corporate and businesswork, bankruptcy, real estate, liquor license transfers, domestic law, generalcivil and criminal litigation. He earned as associate degree in Business fromLansing Community College in 1974 and a Bachelor of Science degree from GrandValley State University in 1976. He received his Juris Doctor degree from theThomas M Cooley Law School in 1980. Mr. Cascarilla served as corporatecounsel for a publicly-held company on the west coast for seven years and alsoserved as an officer and member of their board of directors. The corporation wasa partner in the construction of a $76 million dollar geothermal power plantnear Reno, Nevada. He is a circuit court mediator and has negotiated contractsfor professional athletics. Mr. Cascarilla was admitted to the Michigan bar in1981 and is also licensed to practice before the Michigan Supreme Court, U.S.District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan and the UnitedStates Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
