Growing up, I dreamed of two things: to live in Washington, DC, and tobecome a Realtor. Although I was raised in Redlands, California, I wasalways drawn to our nation's capital, a place steeped in such history andsplendor. And as a self-described people person, the idea of workingclosely with clients to help them navigate a momentous life event likebuying or selling a home was irresistible. So, after a career in HumanResources -- where I learned the invaluable art of listening -- and a stintas a small business owner, I decided that it was time to start living thelife I had always envisioned for myself. And while my previous experiencesprepared me well for the world of real estate, once I made the transition,I never looked back.Today, I'm proud to say that I turned my vision into reality. Over the past22 years, I have built a successful real estate business that's virtually90% referral-based, a fact that I attribute to the enduring relationshipsI've formed here. When I first moved to the DC area, I didn't know a singleperson; now, I have a community of clients that truly feels like a family,like home.
