I graduated summa cum laude in 1986 with a degree in associate arts with an emphasis in business. I received a limited partnership with Edward Jones and my CFP® certification in 1993. The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. awards CFP® certification to individuals who meet the board's requirements for professionalism in financial services.In 1999 and 2000, I qualified to attend the Edward Jones annual Managing Partner's Conference, an honor reserved for the firm's top 300 advisors.I've been married to my wife, Nancy, since June 1986. Nancy is a 30-year retired teacher. We have a daughter, Alexis, who is a graduate of North Georgia College and a son, Eric, who is a graduate of Kennesaw State University.My Senior Branch Office Administrator, Mahea Akana, joined our team in November 2016, and brings 36 years of industry experience. Mahea is married and has two children, Kana'i and Lani, and four grandchildren.
