Lady of the Lakes was founded in 1939 by a woman name Mabel Zimmerman. Her primary focus was on real estate sales and property management. She was very well known in the community as the lake specialist. She named the business after a small town in Florida where she owned a second home.My husband and I purchased the business in 1995 when the broker announced his retirement to Florida. We sold our home on Halfmoon Lake so that we could move into the house connected to the real estate office. This is how we grew the business and in 2005 franchised with Century 21 to expand our efforts off the water.We currently have a team of agents and do not compete against each other in our office. We have a listing coordinator and an offers coordinator to help us with all the aspects of the listing from beginning to close. Five buyer agents assist Tim and I with the buyer leads.
