I am a lifelong resident of Houma, Louisiana. I graduated from Nicholls State University with bachelor's and masters degrees and received my Juris Doctor Degree from Loyola University in New Orleans. I have been married for 44 years to Denise Marcel Alfred. We have two sons, Chris and Elliot, and two grandsons, Corey and Trey. I am a bad golfer and a very good cook.
