Rachelle Lavergne is a Loan Officer for Preferred Lending Solutions, LLC. She is a local native and upon graduating from Church Point High School, Rachelle moved to Baton Rouge and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from LSU. It was there that she began her career and fell in love with the mortgage industry! After working as an Underwriter for the leading mortgage lender in BR for 6.5 years, family ties called her home. In her 30+ years in the industry, Rachelle has worked in many facets from Loan Analyst to Underwriter to Account Executive and finally to Loan Officer (her personal favorite). It is here that she feels she best serves the industry. She is licensed through the National Mortgage Licensing System in the state of LA for purchase and refinance transactions via Conventional, FHA, RD, VA and Construction loans. She states, "Communication is KEY! I take pride in my career and work diligently to assure that each and every transaction is made as simple and clear as possible! I thrive on the joy I feel from making someone's dream of homeownership come true. It's why I do what I do!" Rachelle also strives to give back to her community and industry. She is a member of St. Edmond Catholic Church, Kiwanis of Acadiana (Kiwanian of the Year--2007-2008 and past Treasurer), Realtor Association of Acadiana (Affiliate of the Year--2006) and Honor Society--Life Member, Acadian Home Builders Association/Professional Women in Building, National Association of Home Builders, Acadiana Mortgage Lenders Association, Louisiana Mortgage Lenders Association and One Acadiana (Ambassador's Club)--formerly The Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce. She loves giving back and spending time with family and friends. She states, "I thank God each and every day for the wonderful gifts he has given me and I believe the best way to thank him is to pay it forward!"
