In 2016, I began my Edward Jones career as a financial advisor in Lake Township/Hartville. In January of 2023, I became a limited partner of the firm.Rebecca and I have been married for 15 years and we live in the community that I serve. We have two daughters: 5 years and 4 months. My personal interests include making family memories, flying, outdoors and coffee.My commitment to service extends to our local community and country. I am president of the Hartville Lion's Club. Additionally, I continue to serve our country as a CH-47F Helicopter Pilot in the Ohio Army National Guard with over 23 years of service.I achieved my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, CFP®, certification in December 2024. It is awarded to individuals who have earned a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university; possess at least 6,000 hours of professional experience related personal financial planning; have completed the required coursework in the subject areas the CFP® Board has determined necessary for the competent and professional delivery of financial planning services; passed the CFP® Certification Exam; and committed to complying with the CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct. To maintain CFP®, every 2 years the designee must complete 30 hours of CE and recommit to compliance with the CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct.I achieved my Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ (AAMS™) designation in May of 2021, which focuses on investment strategies, risk, return and investment performance, asset allocation and security selection, tax-sensitive investment strategies, deferred compensation and other benefit plans, insurance products, estate considerations and regulatory issues. I achieved my Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA®) certification in September of 2023, which provides specific education on how to help business owners have a successful exit by discussing business readiness, strengthening personal financial strategies and aligning them to personal goals. This expands a financial advisor's knowledge base in the following business-focused areas: Exit planning considerations, the importance of business valuation and estate considerations.
