Nicole K. Axtell

Nicole has deep roots in downtown Sacramento. Her great grandparents ran a grocery store on 9th and D Street back when it was the edge of town. A lot has changed in our City over the past 120 years, but people still love the downtown core with its tall trees and beautiful homes. It was this same love that prompted Nicole to move her family into a 1912 high water bungalow in East Sacramento, lift it and add a new lower floor. Nicole loves design, color and quality. She enjoys taking the worst house on the best street and giving it new life. Remodeling is in her blood and maximizing space and opportunity bring her great joy. With a background in business and finance, Nicole has working knowledge of the construction process, real estate, mortgage loans, investing and design. She holds a bachelor's degree in Communication and loves meeting new people, taking new adventures and making the world a better place than she found it. Nicole is a high-energy, self-driven person with high integrity and a strong zeal for life. Her nickname is, "travelingparty," and she's never one to shy away from a challenge. She's raised four children, two adopted, and is married to pastor Dan Axtell. Together, they have built tiny houses for homeless people, helped feed thousands in need and continue to look for ways to serve our City.
