My first experience with Edward Jones, and what initially drew me to a career here, was several years ago when I sat down with a friend of mine, a financial advisor. My discussions with her were originally about the benefits of my family and myself working with an advisor at Edward Jones, making sure we were on track and how we could stay the course. But the more I talked with her, the more I liked and appreciated the work she was doing. I asked her to keep me in mind if there were ever an opportunity that came up. That opportunity happened and I jumped all over it – I'm so thankful I did.What I've learned and continue to emphasize is the importance to invest time in understanding what you're working toward before you invest your money. It's also important to understand the level of risk you're comfortable accepting when investing, so we can balance it with the steps necessary to help you reach your long-term goals.I'm fueled and inspired by the people I'm fortunate enough to meet and work with. I strive to not only understand the wants and needs of each client, but to also educate so you truly can understand some potential financial decisions. I feel this is very important as working with clients truly is a partnership, helping to deliver the most ideal client experience.On a personal note, my wife, Kayla, and I reside in Burlington with our two children, Brody and Ella. We enjoy spending the majority of our time getting them to and fro, and watching them at sporting events. Between baseball, cheer, soccer, volleyball, basketball, golf, etc., my kiddos keep us very busy, and we wouldn't have it any other way.Each day, I try to instill in my children certain values that I also try to bestow on my clients. Those values are to treat every person with kindness and respect, be attentive to the needs of others and show people that you truly care about them. The old saying "treat others the way you want to be treated" was instilled in me early in life, and will always be something I live by.I received my Bachelor of Science (aviation) degree at Eastern Kentucky University in 2010.
