Melissa also has experience assisting major insurance companies, financial industry participants, and educational institutions in class action lawsuits, and advising clients in internal investigations and those brought by state and federal regulators.As a member of Eversheds Sutherland's Cannabis Industry team, Melissa counsels a variety of clients on the rapidly changing patchwork of state and federal laws affecting this industry. Melissa also has experience helping ancillary-service providers assess risk and navigate this complex regulatory landscape to meet their business needs.Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland (US), Melissa participated in the firm's 2014 Summer Associate program.
