Mike's ability to understand each borrower's financial situation in combination with today's mortgage lending guidelines is second to none and his customer service does not stop there. In fact, Mike is committed to making every client a "Customer for Life". Mike's 37 yrs. in the mortgage business has allowed him to understand the business from all sides. In his career he has processed, underwritten, closed and funded as well as originated loans. He contributes his success to a team that has each borrower's personal situation at heart. He is as comfortable with the first time home buyer as well as the seasoned self-employed borrower. He understands the "city" loan as well as the "rural" loan. Born in Bellville, Texas, Mike attended Blinn College on a football scholarship and obtained a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics and a master's degree in Land Economics and Real Estate from Texas A&M University. He began his professional career in commercial banking in 1978. He then affiliated with a residential mortgage lender and managed several branch locations for a major financial group. He then was honored with the opportunity to help create a mortgage company and for 21 years helped grow that company to be a national player in the mortgage lending industry. In 2019, he and Austin County State Bank, Bellville, Texas joined together to create All Texas Mortgage, LLC. As "trite" as it may sound, he truly does enjoy becoming his referral sources and borrowers "friend in the mortgage business"!
