In 1969, Jim Maloof started a small real estate business that quickly grew into the largest in the city.  Starting in 1983, for 12 years, Jim Maloof served as Mayor of Peoria, playing a key role in the revitalization of the community.  Jim received many awards over his lifetime and was founder of the first St. Jude Affiliate in the country. In 2001, The Welcome Center was established and since that time it has served over 5,000 home finding, home marketing, rental tours, property management, Farm Auctions and concierge services.
