South Windsor is a unique Connecticut town with a wonderful mix of historic and modern culture. I enjoy driving down Main Street and looking at homes dating back to both the 1700 and 1800s, while just a few streets away one finds modern shops and restaurants.My wife and I have three young boys. I love being a family man and spending my free time with my loved ones. My job allows me to interact with people daily and help them find solutions to the risks they face in their lives. I try to provide the same helpful service to my community as well. I'm a member of the South Windsor Chamber of Commerce and the South Windsor Jaycees, and I volunteer whenever I can throughout the community.Being an Allstate agent isn't just a job for me, it represents family -- my father was an agent. After I graduated from Rhode Island College, I spent some time working in the hospitality industry where I learned that customer service really differentiates you from the competition. My father invited me to join his business, and I jumped at the chance. Watching him work in this business while I was growing up, and seeing him connect with customers and the community, made an impression on me.I joined the family owned and operated Desmond Agency in 2011. The original owner, Tony Desmond, still works in our office daily and is very much an ongoing mentor to my team and me.
