Michael A. Cano is the co-founder of CC Tax & Advisory, a virtual CPA firm focused on providing proactive tax planning and accounting solutions to physicians and healthcare professionals so they can build wealth and achieve financial freedom. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and a Masters degree in the Science of Taxation from the University of Miami. He is a certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of CPA's and the Cuban-American Certified Public Accountants Association. Michael's experience consists of work in both the public and private sector providing accounting, assurance and tax services to clients in an array of industries including medical and healthcare service professionals. This work experience gives him a broad perspective that supports his mission in helping client's reach their wealth building and financial independence goals. Being married to a physician and being in a family of medical professional, Michael was appalled at the dishonest and misleading advice coming from "financial experts" trying to take advantage of physicians in practice. This dishonesty drove him to start his own firm tailored to working with physician and healthcare providers year-round which avoids any surprises come year-end. When he's not helping his clients, he enjoys traveling to unique locations with his wife and spending time outside with his family and friends.
