When I was 13 years old, my father gave me a gift I would not fully appreciate until years later: an article on saving and investing for retirement, specifically how a Roth IRA works. This was my first introduction to what Einstein called the eighth wonder of the world, compound interest. I became fascinated and knew then that my career would be in finance. I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a BSBA in finance and economics. After college, I worked as an investment research analyst for almost five years, gaining extensive experience investing in the global capital markets, both public and private. I became a Chartered Financial Analyst® professional in 2018, showing my passion and dedication to this field. I switched from investment research to financial advising to help families and business owners grow, manage and protect wealth. My No. 1 goal is to help my clients achieve long-term financial security.
