My story began at the age of 12 when I determined that I was going to become a financial advisor someday. My father started his practice with Edward Jones in 1989 and I essentially grew up in the business. At that young age, I took notice that my father was always respected in our community for truly helping people. Clients were happy to see him and always so grateful for the difference he made in their lives. I found myself wanting to be that person bringing guidance and support to the families in my community and my hometown. This is my "why". I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a bachelor's in business administration and a focus on finance. After college, I worked in the real estate and mortgage industry for a few years then I came to work for Edward Jones as a financial advisor here in Sebastopol. I work with our family team, Edward Jones | Bertacco Moore Wealth Management. Francesca Norton is our senior branch office administrator and Julie Dunn is our associate financial advisor. As a team, we believe it's imperative to truly understand what is most important to our clients as they all have unique goals and needs. We utilize an established process to be able to customize a personal financial strategy for our clients and then work with them to help them stay on track throughout their lifetime. Our typical client is the serious investor who is looking for a financial advisor to help them navigate through major life changes such as retirement, marriage or divorce, planning an efficient estate transfer strategy or receiving an inheritance. No two cases are the same and the complexities of each scenario we encounter invigorates us. I received my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® mark in 2022, demonstrating a commitment to continuously expanding my industry knowledge so that I can help clients achieve their financial goals. I am married to my high school sweetheart, BJ, and we reside in our hometown of Sebastopol. We have a daughter, Sofia Anna, who is 2 and we have two "fur babies". We enjoy working in our yard and vineyard, traveling, hiking, cycling, reading and designing. I am involved in my local Rotary club and enjoy serving this beautiful community I get to call home.
