As Executive Assistant to Richard Hottinger and The Hottinger-Callahan Team, Melissa Au-Yeung enjoys diverse responsibilities that enhance the team's success including hands-on involvement with all transactions, as well as design, marketing, social media and branding for the team and their listings. Well accustomed to the luxury environment and very welcoming of hard work, Melissa worked in new development, supporting the sales team for the Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group on weekends from 2008, while holding prominent roles in high-profile hospitality during the week for many years. She is extremely organized, dedicated and creative, which optimizes the level of service The Hottinger Team's clients enjoy. This Brisbane (Queensland), Australia native grew up in the small town of Tenterfield, and graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor's degree in "Creative Industries," majoring in Fashion, Journalism and Business. While in school, Melissa interned at a fashion public relations company headed by fashion PR maven, Kelly Cutrone, then went into the world of hospitality as an Executive Assistant, PR & Marketing Coordinator for the 2-starred Michelin Chef Shaun Hergatt. Within three years, she added on the title of Head of Private Dining and Special Events as well for all of his fine dining establishments. Residing on the Upper East Side, Melissa has happily called Manhattan home since 2008. She speaks fluent English and Cantonese.In her free time, Melissa enjoys graphics design, experimenting with typography, photography and video editing. She also is an avid runner, and culinary enthusiast who loves exploring the city's restaurant scene.
