After taking the bar examination, Matthew interned with the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility before beginning his clerkship with the 21st District's judges.Matthew's areas of practice include criminal defense and civil litigation. Matthew also represents clients in family-related matters, including divorce and juvenile criminal defense. Matthew represents clients in trial courts across middle Tennessee and in the Court of Appeals and Court of Criminal Appeals. Matthew has tried cases in general sessions court, circuit court, and juvenile court. When not in court or at the office, Matthew enjoys the outdoors, running, and following baseball.
