Throughout my life, helping others has been an integral part of who I am. I chose a career in financial services because I believe I can make a difference in the lives of families in my community.My fascination with finance began at the age of 15. I was a freshman in high school working at a local grocery store, and my first financial goal was purchasing a truck. Although a very basic start, this began with creating a budget and setting a financial goal of paying for my first vehicle on a part-time minimum wage salary. Fast forward many years, many goals, and many lessons since then, I have experienced both highs and lows along my own financial journey. Although some of the goals have since become more complex, the basic principle for each has remained the same. It all starts with a vision.I want to establish deep and trusting relationships with my clients and work together to create solutions for whatever life throws our way, and Edward Jones gives me the opportunity to do just that! After that, I spent eight years in the banking industry as a lender providing borrowing needs for individuals and businesses before joining Edward Jones in 2022. I believe that my previous experience in banking gives me an additional perspective when creating an overall financial strategy for clients.Union County has been my home for the majority of my life, and I believe that New Albany is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. I have been a member of the Rotary Club of New Albany since 2017, and I am passionate about working with other groups as well to continually help improve our community.Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to the lake, working on my tractor and fist pumping for bogeys on the golf course.
