A native Texan and third generation Park Cities resident, Mary Anne Dunn has spent forty-two years in client relations services within the banking industry. Her most recent focus was on residential construction lending.Working with clients on building or renovating their dream homes led Mary Anne to an interest in residential real estate. She has bought and sold seven homes in Highland Park and University Park in the last thirty years. Her lending experience at Benchmark Bank allowed her to gain knowledge not only in financing, but in appraisals, title work (Benchmark Title), area builders, and of real estate agents throughout the Park Cities and Preston Hollow.A graduate of Highland Park High School, Mary Anne attended the University of Arkansas before returning home to Texas. She made a brief stop in Austin only to find she was homesick for the Park Cities. She began her banking career in 1979 at Preston State Bank, moved in 1984 to Bank of Texas where she remained for twenty-eight years and has been at Benchmark Bank for the last nine years.Mary Anne has one daughter, Annie, who graduated from Highland Park High School and the University of Alabama. She currently lives in Birmingham, Alabama.Mary Anne has been a board member for thirteen years at Community Partners of Dallas. CPD supports the case workers for Child Protective Services. She is currently on the Executive Board of CPD and is also an active board member of the Clayton Dabney Foundation for Kids with Cancer. This organization supports needy families, who have children in the last stages of terminal cancer, with financial assistance for household expenses and in providing last wishes, gifts, and family travel.Mary Anne is located at the Turtle Creek office and is excited to work with clients and other agents in the buying or selling of residential properties.
