Mark specializes in multi and single-tenant retail & office leased investment real estate assets in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, and Northern California. However, with nearly one thousand closed transactions, Mark has experience in underwriting, valuing, and marketing every asset class. He heads a team that collaborates with analysts and research personnel. His clients include individual private-client investors, developers, trusts, pension funds, REITs, institutional & private placement lenders. Mark and his team provide their clients with the highest level of service, market knowledge, and transactional expertise in the industry. Mark began his career at Marcus & Millichap as an Investment Associate focusing on retail and office leased investments. Over the ensuing years, Mark received promotions to Senior Investment Associate, First Vice President, and on to his current Senior Vice President title. In the early 2000s, Mark was appointed Director of Marcus & Millichap's National Retail Group and subsequently elevated to his current Senior Director position. The firm has included him in a select group of investment brokers to mentor and train new agents. Mark has been instrumental in grooming many of Marcus & Millichap's most promising investment professionals. Mark's team has assisted clients in navigating each market cycle, whether trending up, down or static. Not content with relying on historical, rear-view mirror market information, Mark's team seeks out real-time, boots on the ground intelligence combined with a historical perspective to assist clients in implementing successful investment real estate strategies. Mark has worked side by side with his clients in charting successful strategies, and transacting through the S&L Crisis, Loma Prieta earthquake, 9-11, Dot-Com, the Lehman Brothers/Great Recession, and the Covid-19 pandemic.
