Marina R. Mehrtens

Marina Mehrtens is an associate in the M&A and Private Equity group in the firm's Chicago office. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and private equity investing, and she represents both private and public companies across a variety of industries. Prior to joining Sidley, Marina worked as a Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) Graduate Fellow at the Institute for Justice Clinic on Entrepreneurship. Marina earned her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 2021 and was a recipient of the "Donald E. Egan Scholar Award."
