MAEGHAN MURPHY is a managing associate in the Real Estate group in the firm's New York office. Maeghan's practice focuses on the financing, development, construction, and acquisition of commercial real estate and affordable housing properties. Prior to joining Sidley, Maeghan interned with the Legal Aid Society's Adolescent Intervention and Diversion Project, where she supported staff attorneys representing youth charged in the adult court system in New York City. Maeghan received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a notes editor for the Columbia Human Rights Law Review a nd participated in the Health Justice Advocacy Clinic. She was also named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Maeghan received her B.S. from Northwestern University.
