For Mac & Quack's owner Andrew MacDonald, working with insects and wildlife has always been a family affair. He grew up on a honey bee farm in upstate New York and learned about colonized insects like bees and ants from his father, who held a Master's Degree in Apiculture, the science of bee-keeping, from Cornell University. Andrew spent his younger years trapping for the fur market, and was a licensed trapper at only five years old! He started Mac & Quack's while still in high school, and has been working with insects and wildlife ever since.
