M & J Construction was founded in 1966. With over 40 years specializing in roofing, siding and remodeling M & J Construction of Moorhead, Inc. has seen many changes to it's industry. One thing that has remained constant is their commitment to their customers. They also install windows, doors and skylights, metal wraps around windows and doors, fascia & soffit. In the fall and winter months they provide roof maintenance, roof snow removal, ice dam melting and gutter cleaning. They are licensed and insured in both Minnesota and North Dakota. In 2011 M & J earned an Honorable Mention with the 2nd Annual Quality Asphalt Roofing Case Study Awards Program sponsored by the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association (ARMA) There was some tough competition nationwide from a Federal bldg. to a Comfort Suites. In 2012 CertainTeed sent out a professional architectural photographer to photograph a roof they did using CertainTeed's Presidential TL shingles for their marketing and website. In 2013 they received an award from CertainTeed Corporation for Remoderler Project of the Quarter on a single family home they remodeled using Cedar Impressions Shake siding, Landmark Limited Lifetime AR shingles and added an addition onto their garage. The employees of M & J Construction completed the OSHA Safety Training which they now are First Aid and Safety certified.
