As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I have the distinct privilege of meeting and developing deep, meaningful relationships with the people in my community and beyond. I work with individuals and business owners to understand their complex needs and develop strategic and personalized solutions. Understanding what is most important to my clients is the foundation for building appropriate strategies.In 2022 I earned the Certified Exit Planning Advisor® designation. The training involved in this program covered many aspects of business and succession planning including: assessing business readiness and personal financial preparedness, engaging with the client team of CPA's, attorneys and other professionals, integrating strategies into professional, personal and financial goals as well as building and preserving family wealth for future generations.Prior to joining Edward Jones, I spent 18 years in the Idaho Falls business community as an accountant and CFO. I came to Edward Jones in 2014 because I wanted to positively impact the lives of as many people as possible through comprehensive strategies, high quality investments and a long-term vision.After attending the University of Idaho and Idaho State University, I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting with additional emphasis in finance. Originally from Twin Falls, Idaho, I have lived in Idaho Falls since 1977. I have served as a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church Finance Council, the IF Youth Arts Centre and First Night Idaho Falls, and as a board member for Habitat for Humanity Idaho Falls, Idaho Falls Country Club and 7th Judicial District CASA. I was recently elected to the office of the City of Idaho Falls Auditorium District board for the Mountain American Center and look forward to additional opportunities to serve my community.However, my most gratifying role is that of a mother. My husband, Thel, and I have eight children: three daughters and five sons as well as four grandchildren. We enjoy golfing, biking, reading and skiing, but mostly travelling the world.My teammate and branch office administrator, Alicia Humpherys, is an integral part of our practice and is equally committed to providing our clients with the highest level of service.
