When selecting a financial investment advisor, I hold the candidates in the running to very high standards. After all, this is my hard-earned money they are watching over. I have high standards with regard to their honesty, their integrity, their transparency, their commitment to on--going professional development, their awareness of industry trends, their accessibility, their listening and understanding of my needs and wants and all actions they take will be in the direction of that desired end result. Here's the good news....I hold myself to those very same high professional standards when providing my services to others. An investment in Real Estate is one of the biggest investments most people make in their lifetime. I recognize this and do not take this responsibility lightly. That being said, in the past 2 1/2 years I have devoted over 200 hours in continued professional development in Real Estate. The designations and credentials I have acquired are as follows: GRI, SRS, SRES, CBR, PSA, MRP, RSPS, E-Pro, AHWD. I initially spelled out what those letters actually stood for but this bio started to resemble War and Peace. Aren't you glad I spared you? To compliment my continued real estate educational studies, I am also currently enrolled in a Home Staging and Interior Design Program with the New York Institute of Art and Design. I have already invested an additional 120 hours into this program. The staging will help me prepare the property to get the highest price possible for my sellers and appeal to the broadest range of buyers which equates to moving the property. By staging, I am talking about working with what you have, suggestions on what improvements should be made and advise on what not to waste money on. It's included in the services I offer. Lastly, I am a native Long Islander, love the Island and the people who live here. I am currently and have been an advocate for Long Islanders' rights. I have served on the Long Island Board of Realtors Legislative Committee which does very important work advocating for Long Island homeowner issues and have gone to Albany to in assist in lobbying for these issues. I am looking forward to serving on the Committee again in 2020. I had also advocated for Long Islanders' healthcare rights on a Federal level and had successfully affected positive change. For that, I was dubbed "Long Island Lin". In addition, I served on the Board of Directors of my own community for six years to help watch over the financial health of the community and protect the rights of my friends and neighbors.
