Family was always important to me growing up. My father's family were pioneers that settled in Clark County in the 1800s and many are still there today. My grandfather and grandmother met when they were both in law school at University of Oregon and I remember that feeling of awe when I would get to visit him at his law office. I could tell that important work was happening, and that my grandfather was helping people. So a few years after finishing my undergraduate degree, I knew I had to follow in his footsteps. Like my family before me, I feel an obligation to help people and to make a difference in my community. Family law was an obvious choice. I have two little boys myself and know the joys and challenges of raising children. At Landerholm Law we really focus on protecting children and on helping them move forward from a divorce in a way that is least damaging. Another passion I have is that I believe everyone should have access to justice, and so for the last four years have been building a practice that allows affordable access to legal services in the family law arena.
