At 22, Leslie became a landlord while attending Florida State University. For the next 20 years, Leslie and her husband, Sean, worked in construction and real estate sales while "slow flipping" the houses they lived in and remodeling a few rentals. In 2013, they started to flip houses full time. 30 houses later, Leslie & Sean have increased their net worth exponentially. They keep more than half of their flips as rental properties. Leslie now also shares her expertise with others interested in creating financial freedom through real estate through coaching and speaking, while still improving properties, managing rentals and helping others achieve their dreams. As a teenager, Leslie would help her parents fix up & maintain their investment homes & commercial buildings. She is the 3rd generation of her family to invest in Florida Real Estate, which she started in Tallahassee in 1996. Homeownership was so rewarding that she started helping others enjoy the gains and avoid the pitfalls of buying & selling real estate in 2002. Leslie has helped HUNDREDS of clients & sold over 35M in commercial, residential & multi-family properties. The years of assisting her husband, Sean Purdy (now a Handyman) in running Construction companies really helped Leslie become quite knowledgeable in both residential & commercial construction, which really benefits her clients in the selection process. To better serve her clients, Leslie is always taking classes to be able to educate clients about laws & current trends in real estate.
