"There are no shortcuts to any place worth going" Beverly Sills Leigh Ann Fincher started off as a Physical Therapy Tech in college, a role she continued in Grad School. She holds a BS in Communication from Stephen F. Austin University and a MS in Counseling Psychology from Texas A M. Her wanderlust took her out West to Utah where she worked in Advertising for five years. During this time, she raised sponsorship capital for the pre-Olympic Events at Snowbasin. She served on the Olympic Local Organizing Committee (LOC) and helped manage 1500 volunteers at Snowbasin for the Men's and Women's Speed Events (Downhill and Super G) for the 2002 Olympics. Leigh Ann was also heavily involved with the Salt Shakers, Goodwill Ambassadors to the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce from 1998-2010. The Salt Shakers traveled to cities from New York City to San Fran meeting with Economic Development departments and Chamber of Commerce offices to promote the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce and Utah Business. She also served on the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce International Committee for seven years. She was honored to serve on the Foundation Board at Westminster College in Salt Lake City for six years. The purpose of the Board was to raise funds for student scholarships. One event every year raised $1 Million (+) in donations for scholarships. Leigh Ann became a Utah Real Estate Agent in 2002 and immediately went from volunteering at the Para-Olympics to an Agent at Wolf Creek Resort - Eden, UT. Wolf Creek Resort was under new ownership and ready to bust loose which it did. She later became the Real Estate Sales Manager for many years. Not bad for a rookie. From 2009-2010, Utah Lodging and PPR Real Estate were formed as a need after several area companies went out of business in the down turn of the market. Utah Lodging manages 80 properties for long and short-term rentals as well absentee management in the Huntsville and Eden ski/summer markets in Utah. PPR Real Estate is a full service real estate brokerage that consistently performed at the top of the area's market share. In February 2016, PPR Real Estate merged with Engel Voelkers in Park City, Utah. Bringing 150 listings of her own, it was a good jump-start to spread the EV brand in Ogden Valley. The Eden Shop is set to open by the end of 2016. Leigh Ann Fincher is the current Principal Broker and partner of Engel Volkers Eden, which serves the ski areas of Snowbasin, Powder Mountain and Nordic Valley in the townships of Huntsville, Eden and Liberty. Eden is located in a picturesque Valley that many refer to as "Little Switzerland". High-elevation desert climate surrounded by glorious mountains come together to produce the "Greatest Snow on Earth". One must ski it to believe it! 2002 2016: Utah Individual Real Estate Volume is $250 M In August 2016, Fincher purchased the Destin, Florida territory of Engel Voelkers from the Naples Florida Master Franchise. Fincher has been visiting Destin her entire life. It holds a special place in her heart, in fact, she recently named her Maltese puppy "Destin". The Emerald Isle is Heaven on Earth. Shop location will be next to Bonefish Grill in Paradise Key at Mid Bay Bridge Drive, in the epicenter of Destin. The Destin Shop is set to open by the end of 2016 or first quarter 2017.
