Hello!! I am Laurie Pizzo, originally from Chicago Illinois and have lived in Hernando County for over 25 years. I have three wonderful furry felines - Pepper, Molly and Simba. I love to travel, canoe, kayak and workout at the gym. I am very active in my profession locally and at the State level which includes serving on committees for issues related Public Policy - Legislative and Regulatory Research and State and Local Taxation. I also serve on the Government Affairs Committees for both the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce and the Hernando County Association of REALTORS. My community involvement also includes Community Advisory Council for HCA Oak Hill Hospital and Habitat for Humanity of Hernando County. I was appointed by former Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum and reappointed by Speaker of the Florida House Dean Cannon to the Florida Commission on the Status of Women currently sitting Chairwoman. Prior to general real estate with Century 21 Alliance Realty, I sold homes for one of the largest builders in the United States...Lennar/US Homes. I was able to transform my knowledge from the new home sales into the general home sales quite successfully and since entering this field has been a Multi-Million Dollar Producer.
