LAURA CRAIG represents clients in complex litigation in federal court, including critical motions practice, oral argument, discovery, and trial. Laura has experience in both commercial disputes and government-facing litigation, including in matters defending against government enforcement actions and challenging federal regulatory actions under the Administrative Procedure Act. Laura also has experience in representing corporate and individual clients in investigations and enforcement actions by the Department of Justice, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Food and Drug Administration. Prior to joining Sidley, Laura served as a law clerk to the Honorable Edward G. Smith of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Laura also previously worked as an associate at a leading international law firm, where she practiced in the Environmental Transactions group. Laura received her law degree from The George Washington University Law School, where she served as a notes and project editor on the George Washington Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board.
