Lady Michael McCraine is the former owner and CEO of Fictional Homes. She studied architecture and interior design at UCLA, and she brings to Compass eighteen years of experience as a leading Los Angeles based interior designer, home stager, and real estate agent. Working closely with clients, and listening carefully to their needs, from a project's conception to its completion has taught Michael how people truly live and function in different environments. But more importantly, it has revealed how people dream of living and functioning in those same spaces. This aspect has made her an unstoppable force in helping buyers find the perfect home, based on their wants and needs, guiding developers through the purchasing and building process, and helping seller's market their homes for the ultimate sale with elegant staging, outstanding photography, and accurate pricing. She knows the importance of being fair and ethical throughout these processes, and she has perfected the art of negotiation so that everyone is a winner. Michael lives in Venice with her husband, two children, and two pups. She enjoys meditation, swimming in the ocean, reading classic and contemporary literature, taking surf lessons, walking around Venice, dancing in the kitchen, biking in Ojai, and all things craft-oriented. Charity organizations that she supports include the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International, Saving the Survivors NPC, David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, and The Little Farm in Ojai.
