Kathy founded the firm with Ms. Lambdin in 2001. Prior to becoming a lawyer, she was an insurance adjuster for seven years, handling a wide variety of claims in both personal and commercial lines. She has decades of litigation experience handling hundreds of cases involving auto liability, wrongful death, products liability, professional malpractice, governmental/municipality liability, intellectual property, trucking accidents, liquor liability, bars/restaurant liability, construction site accidents, directors and officers liability, public utility liability, premises liability, carbon monoxide cases, employer liability, bad faith, and construction defect. She has tried over 40 jury trials to verdict and has numerous reported appellate opinions. She is admitted in all courts in the States of Colorado, Wyoming, and Florida. Kathy also has the CPCU insurance designation, regularly gives seminars to claims associations, and has taught insurance courses at the Community College of Aurora. She has an AV Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review rating.
