Kimberly S. Talken graduated magna cum laude from Millikin University in 2005, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. In 2008, Kim graduated cum laude from Northern Illinois University College of Law with her Juris Doctor. While a student at NIU, Kim took a clinical class that allowed her to practice in the Zeke Giorgi Legal Clinic in Rockford, Ill., obtaining orders of protection for victims of domestic violence.
