I opened my Allstate agency in Plainfield in 2010. Plainfield, a small town that has shown resiliency and grit after a devastating tornado hit the area in 1990, is a bustling community with summer festivals, car shows and a variety of delicious restaurants and unique shops. I'm proud to be part of it.Originally from East Dubuque, Illinois, I attended Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, where I played football and am now a member of the college's athletic hall of fame. After graduation, I pursued a career in retail management. I made the switch to a career in 1985, working as a claims adjuster, and joined Allstate as an agent in 1987.When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my kids. I have watched proudly from the stands as four of them competed in collegiate sports, and I've cheered them on from the sidelines, coaching their various sports during their elementary and high school years. For over 20 years, I have coached both youth and high school football for local programs. I actively support various youth sports programs through monetary donations.Owning an Allstate agency is truly part of my identity. I have eight children, and I like to say my agency feels like my ninth child. In fact, I have nine licensed agents in my office, including my oldest son, Kevin.
