Kevin McCarthy

Kevin McCarthy is a fourth generation San Francisco native who has been a resident of Midtown Terrace for 12 years. As a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Realty, Kevin has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the San Francisco real estate market. He believes that ownership in San Francisco real estate is an unbeatable long-term investment and he enjoys helping people participate in this wealth building asset class. Kevin's markets of expertise include Midtown Terrace, Forest Knolls, Diamond Heights and Miraloma Park and he is capable of services all San Francisco, and the Northern Peninsula. Kevin is known for his ability to listen empathetically, think strategically, and put his clients' needs first. He believes in providing personalized attention and ensuring that his clients are fully informed throughout the process. His friendly, charming, upbeat, and persistent personality makes working with him a pleasure. In addition to his work in real estate, Kevin is actively involved in his community. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Midtown Terrace Homeowner's Association and is a member of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, the San Francisco Historical Society, the California Historical Society, and the Irish Cultural Center. Before becoming a Realtor, Kevin had a successful corporate career. He served in an executive capacity for the technology companies Pherin Pharmaceuticals, Shasta Crystals and Erox Corporation where he was involved in all areas of corporate strategy including finance, business and corporate development, shareholder relations, grant writing and IP management. As President of Pherin, Kevin orchestrated a successful exit for stockholders through a sale of the Company to Vistagen Therapeutics (VTGN) of South San Francisco. Kevin holds an MBA from CSU Chico and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Francisco State University. He completed his high school education at Serra High School in San Mateo, CA.
