I joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor in 2004 and became a limited partner with the firm in 2014.Active in the community, I have served as vice-chair of the Public Employees Retirement Fund and the Indiana Teachers Retirement Fund, as well as president of the IU Southeast Alumni Association. In addition, I have served as vice-chair of One Southern Indiana (the local Chamber of Commerce). Currently, I serve as the Chair of the Floyd County Police Merit Commission, and the Choices Life Resource Center, as well as on the executive committee of the Baptist Floyd Hospital Board.I was honored to receive the IU President's Award for work with alumni relations in 2002.In 2013, I was given the Edward Jones Spirit of Caring award, which recognizes a financial advisor selected by their peers who exemplifies the values, culture and spirit of giving back. The recognized me as a Momentum Conference attendee in 2024.Inside the firm, I am a former member of the Edward Jones Grassroots Task Force, which is dedicated to making the voice of the individual investor heard on Capitol Hill. In the past, I served on my region's leadership team as the client solutions leader, helping financial advisors at different stages of their business develop processes to better serve their clients. I most recently served on the leadership team as the culture of compliance leader, level coach and field trainer.Having earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana University Southeast, I completed the MBA program at the University of Southern Indiana.I also hold the AAMS™ designation from the College of Financial Planning®. The College of Financial Planning® awards the AAMS™ designation to individuals who successfully complete a professional education program, pass a final examination, commit to a code of ethics and agree to pursue continuing education.Kristen, my wife, was the 2016 recipient of the Teacher of the Year award for the New Albany-Floyd County School Corporation. We have two daughters, Ellie (3rd grade teacher) and Lauren (student at the University of Kentucky).Julie Weaver helps our clients as the senior branch office administrator and is also a limited partner with the firm. She holds the FPQP® designation.
