Hooker CPA Firm, PLLC is managed and owned by Kentrell L. Hooker; a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) registered with the State of Mississippi and Texas. He has over 15 years of accounting and tax experience, all honed while working at one of the largest Big 4 Public Accounting Firms, Deloitte Tax LLP. Mr. Hooker has extensive experience in accounting for local, mid-sized and large companies as well aiding those same size companies with tax preparation, audits, consulting, and sales & use tax. He graduated from Jackson State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS), Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA), Greater Houston Black Chamber, (GHBC), Houston East End Chamber of Commerce (EECOC) and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
