ABOUT KELLI HOLT With over two decades of sales and hospitality experience under her belt, Kelli Holt has built a solid foundation of trust and experience with diverse clients and organizations. She started out working in the yacht and cruise industries, as Event Manager for Norwegian Cruise Lines and developing marketing for private owners in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. She branched into and established a solid career in the hotel industry while living in the Florida Keys, also handling marketing, events, and spearheading business development. "It was a lot of hours," she remembers. "I loved the work and the Keys, but it was a job. Everyone comes down there to have a good time, but my husband and I were usually too busy to stop and take it all in as much as we would have liked." Wanting to make a conscious change, they relocated to Ocala four years ago, attracted by the relaxed, pastoral lifestyle with community investment and a less metropolitan pace. She worked with Pax Hotel Group and Equus Inn starting in sales, and was later promoted to Regional Director of Sales, overseeing multiple properties. This gave her the opportunity to grow her contacts and develop her relationships with local businesses, groups, and organizations in Central Florida. During Covid lockdown, she decided to study for and earn her real estate license. "I had always been interested in real estate, so lockdown had the blessing in disguise of giving me the time I needed to focus on that," she says. "It kept me productive and actually gave me the inspiration to take the plunge and make another change in my career, where I have a little more independence. LPT Realty was a great fit for me, because of its investment in the agents and the support it provides." An involved member of the Ocala community, Kelli has served on the board of the Marion Therapeutic Riding Association and is an active participant with several other organizations in the region. As an agent, she brings a particular empathy and understanding to clients who are relocating, knowing first hand the challenges that come with learning a new place. She is an excellent resource who can draw on her knowledge and marketing experience to identify and reach the ideal buyer for the right home.
