She earned a Master of Business Administration from Golden Gate University, magna cum laude, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Old Dominion University.She is involved in numerous professional organizations, including serving as Chair of the Virginia State Bar's Resolution of Fee Disputes Committee, on the Virginia State Bar Real Estate Section Board of Governors, and as Chair of the Va. Beach Bar Association General District Court Judicial Liaison Comittee.
