Atom's love for coastal Delaware began in the early 80's when she relocated from the Midwest to the Washington, DC area and she discovered Rehoboth as the place to go for fun, sun, and relaxation. Her personal goal became to own a beach property which she purchased in the early 90's and to eventually call Rehoboth home, which she did in 2004. Her desire to help others led her to a career in nursing and eventually away from Ohio to the mid-Atlantic. She has enjoyed a lengthy career as an intensive care nurse in our nation's capitol, where in many cases, trusting relationships she built with co-workers and patients have evolved into a client/real estate agent relationship. Atom's enthusiasm for and knowledge of real estate is very evident. Her passion for real estate guided her in the purchase and renovation of several properties in the Washington Metropolitan area and in the mid-80's led her to get her real estate license in Virginia. Upon relocating to Rehoboth in 2004, she immediately pursued her Delaware Real Estate license and began selling new home construction in the Rehoboth/Lewes area and in western Sussex County. Atom is an avid golfer and a member of Kings Creek Country Club. She also enjoys her pontoon boat on the Rehoboth Bay, the Rehoboth Lewes Canal and all of it's tributaries where she feels that "the birding is awesome". Atom believes that a good real estate agent needs to not only understand the real estate market but needs to have practical experience (some skin in the game) and possess a strong knowledge of financial markets in general. She is an active investor in the stock market and is an avid reader of the Investors Business Daily and financial books. One of her favorite reads is "The Millionaire Next Door".
