My name is Katherine Chacon. I was born and raised right here in West Palm Beach and can proudly say I'm a sixth generation Florida native. Staying close to home, I attended high school at Cardinal Newman High School. As I developed an interest in finance, I went on to earn my bachelor's degree in finance at Stetson University in Deland, FL. One of my favorite interests besides finance was tennis, so I played Division 1 tennis for the university all four years.After graduating in 2009, I began my career as an Edward Jones financial advisor and successfully passed two security registration examinations, Series 7 and 66. Because of my close ties with Palm Beach County, I decided to locate my home in West Palm Beach and business office in Palm Springs.In 2014, I earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ (AAMS™) professional designation. The College for Financial Planning awards the AAMS™ designation to individuals who successfully complete a 12-module professional education program, pass a final examination, commit to its code of ethics and agree to pursue continuing education. This designation is important to me.In 2021, I earned the CFP® and ChFC® certifications. In 2024, I earned the CEPA® designation. David Chacon, my husband, and I have two wonderful sons, Gabriel and James. We are very active in our community, church and family life. We provide highly personalized service.
