My passion for land and real estate has spanned for decades. I grew up in Loomis, California, a small farming town in Northern California. Both of my parents were from farming towns, as well. My Father, in Durham, where his Dad had a lumber mill. And, my Mother, in Live Oak, where they raised various nuts and fruits; such as peaches, almonds and walnuts. The roots of Agriculture run deep in our family tree. This upbringing led me to an education in AgriBusiness. I graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in AgriBusiness Finance & Appraisal. Part of our course curriculum was large farm lending, appraisal and California Real Estate. This path led me to my long time career as a Realtor. I have been a licensed realtor since 1998, and a Broker since 2005. I take my active position as a Broker/Owner of Marker Real Estate, LLC very seriously. Some of the various roles I have undertaken in my career have been as an Escrow Coordinator, assisting in the closing of over 400 homes per year, National Sales Associate of the Year and also, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Morrison Homes, and Director of Sales & Marketing for Castle & Cooke, California, Incorporated. In addition, I have worked hand in hand with multiple asset managers of major banking institutions during the foreclosure crisis of 2008-2012. The importance of this, is that in each of these roles, I have served the seller. Whether bank, developer or private land holder, my fiduciary responsibility is to the seller, and maintaining the best value for their homes and land. I represent each seller in protecting their investment. I work hard at achieving the highest and best value for your land, whether you are a private land holder, a large developer or a bank.
