While attending Purdue University in 2002, I met my wife, Fatima. We've lived in Fishers, Indiana since 2007. In 2012, we welcomed our first daughter, Layla, into the world and shortly after, in 2014, we welcomed our second daughter, Mia. All four of us are regular attendees at Crosspoint Church and volunteer in some capacity. My wife and I are very involved with the schools in Fishers. She is the principal at one of the elementary schools, and I volunteer with the PTO. The girls pay soccer at Indy Premier and basketball through Mudsock. As I think back to when I was growing up in New Castle, IN, all the careers that I ever thought of pursuing involved helping people or animals in one way, shape or form. I thought I might want to follow in my father's footsteps and become a veterinarian, realizing very quickly that I probably shouldn't do that because I was allergic to dogs and cats. I considered the medical field, particularly an anesthesiologist. However, I enjoy learning about, talking to and interacting with people so that wasn't a good fit either. In 2003, I graduated from Purdue with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Krannert School of Management. Shortly after graduation, I started with Fifth Third Bank where I gained valuable skills working in a branch setting and learning to work with clients and managing co-workers. Then, in 2009, while still working full time at Fifth Third Bank, I started my Master of Business Administration at The University of Indianapolis. After graduating in 2011, I went to work with BMO Harris Bank, helping clients work through their life changes and covering all of our banking centers in Hamilton County. Helping clients with their life-changing events is why my desire to become a financial advisor developed and led me to Edward Jones. As I've grown with Edward Jones, I earned my Certified Financial Planner®, or CFP®, certification in 2024. This has given me the knowledge to help my clients navigate more complex situations.
