I grew up assuming everyone liked to pay bills and openly talk about money. A lot of people laugh when I tell them this, and it took me a while to realize that in fact most dread the subject of personal finance. I'm the opposite and love helping others with their money. I like to help those who have no interest in salespeople and whose finances have become too complicated for self-management. I love getting my clients through change events like the sale of a business, divorce, inheritance or retirement. We work together to create an organized financial life. The more complicated, the better – it brings me such joy to work through multiple goals and wishes. My network of attorneys and tax professionals refer business to me when they need a complicated situation done right, and I like to make sure that my clients have their own team of support. My conversations with clients go beyond investments. We provide predictable, quality communication to help people get where they want to go and address anything that comes up along the way.Commitment to continuing education is very important to me. I have several licenses and my current financial professional registrations include the CFP® certification and the ChFC® and CRPC™ designations. I earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas and a master's degree from the University of Missouri. My family and I live in St. Paul. We enjoy staying active and traveling when possible. I volunteer for the St. Paul Public Schools and am a member of the Financial Planning Association. In my free time, you can find me enjoying live music of any kind and taking classes in everything from Krav Maga to Tai Chi to First Aid.
