Hello! I'm a California native, South Carolina living, Paris obsessed, Coastie wife and Veteran, and mother of two. I began this journey back in 2004 when I enrolled at University of Maryland University College while still enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard. I graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. However, by the time I graduated, I had a new baby and had started a direct-sales business. I decided to set my degree aside in hopes that I might use it "someday". My direct-sales business was growing very quickly, so one day I downloaded Quickbooks Pro Desktop and taught myself how to use the program to organize my books. Oddly enough, I enjoyed both hosting parties AND sitting at my computer tracking all of my finances. I thought everyone was like me until one day when a girlfriend asked me to help her prepare her finances for her accountant. I couldn't believe she wasn't tracking every penny like I was! So I started with her, then started helping other friends get their books in order. After our most recent move back to Miami, I stopped doing parties and started volunteering for a couple non-profit organizations that needed help getting back in compliance with the IRS.
