Sandy, Utah, located at the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains, is a family oriented community. Located just south of Salt Lake City, residents of Sandy enjoy world-class skiing and soccer. Parks adorn each residential neighborhood, and our Fourth of July Festival is not to be missed.I was born and raised in Sandy. My great-grandfather homesteaded in Sandy, so my roots to this community date back many years. I graduated from Jordan High School and attended nearby Utah State University. I became an Allstate agent in 1979, shortly after graduation. A career in insurance suits me well because I find great joy in helping customers as they protect what matters most -- their family, home, car and boat. In my experiences in insurance, I have never had the same day twice. I have terrific customers, and I treat them to a movie at the local movie theater each year.I also enjoy giving back to my community, such as through safe-driving instruction at the local high school. I volunteer for my local church and help our local homeless shelter with food and clothing drives. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my three children, hiking, golfing and skiing. I love to travel, and I especially have loved visiting Hawaii and Ireland.Come visit me and my team. We look forward to getting to know you!
