In my past professional life, I was in the engineering field for 30 years. As time continued to press on in my career, I knew that I wanted to do more to help people. My most fulfilling roles were the ones where I was in front of our customers, helping them directly and addressing their needs and concerns face-to-face; walking them through every phase of the job; answering their questions, explaining problems and exploring solutions, helping to eliminate their worry and concerns. I decided after a series of different events that it was time to make a career change that would allow me to live out my purpose and help people directly.
